"I Love Money Causes serious drama"

The reality show I Love Money 2 is getting down to the final few contestants. In saying this, people are starting to turn on each other to win the money. Friends are becoming enemies and relationships are being broken. One particular alliance between Frank and Saphyri has went down in flames. They turned on each other and Frank ended up going home. This raises the concern of human interaction. People lose their morals when it comes to money. People are willing to lose friends over money, when at the end of it all, the money will run out, but a friends will always be there. Would you turn on your friend for money? I would not. You could be rich, miserable and lonely; or broke, happy, and accompanied.

" In and out"

BET's College Hill is back. College Hill is a show about eight different college students living together under one roof and the trials and tribulations they endure. There was a fight in the house the second night between two girls, Terri and Milan. Terri was sent home after the fight, but she did not throw the first punch. This brings up a question; do you think that the person who hits first is in the wrong, or the person who starts the drama. In this situation, Terri was sent home because she provoked Milan with her threats and actions, which triggered Milan to hit her first. I agree that whoever starts the drama, regardless of if it is with words or actions, should be the one who is at fault.

A point of View from Dorian Massy.

“It is far more demanding for a woman to wander now than ever before”. The aforementioned quote is from “A Global Sense of Place”, by Dorian Massy. This brings the question, do women travel more today because of economic reasons, or because of colonialism. Which parallels to the reality show The Bad Girls Club, which is a show about eight women living in a house together, full of drama and adventures. I feel that women do travel more today than they did before. Women, as well as people have more money today; women are also more independent today. We as a society have moved from a more traditional lifestyle to a more modern one; in which fewer women are married and free to go and come as they please. In saying this, the women that took part in the bad girls club were all single; therefore they had no loyalty to any man. Also, technology has advanced throughout the decades, which has defiantly enabled women, and others, to travel and partake in much more than before. The world has changed very much, and it is still evolving.

Drama Drama Drama

VH1's Tool Academy was full of drama. Although the couples were put into the house to better their relationships, it soon turned into a big war between the couples. This brings the question; "why is it that whenever groups of people are are put under the same roof they somehow clash?" Is it in our blood to innately turn on each another for the prize. This just has not happened on this show, it has happened on every reality show I have ever seen before. Which brings me to conclude that winning is more powerful than upholding morals.

THE CURSE OF MAKING THE BAND....

P Diddy says "there may be a curse of making the band". The latest episode of Making the Band 4 was quite interesting. Q and Willie got into it several times throughout the show. Many are wondering will this cause problems within the group. What do you think? Personally I feel that if they continue to clash, they may end up just like Danity Kane. This raises a question. Is it possible for groups to survive in the music industry today. Day 26 are the only male group out now. Will the curse take over them too? This is a big deal, because if they can survive and stay together, they can potentially take over the music industry, or they can fall short like the others.

It seems that only Dawn and Aundrea are willing to stay in the group, but with only two, it's impossible for Danity Kane to be the same.

Personal Lives Exposed...Are reality shows real??

VH1's new reality show "Tool Academy", is very exciting to watch; well if you are into seeing boyfriends make their girlfriends look stupid. Couples are on this show because the boyfriends are either cheaters, abusers, or have any other characteristics that make a terrible boyfriend. The objective of the competition is to see which man will change the most, thus realizing how important his relationship is. However, the journey is the issue. This brings the question- are reality shows real, and if not how far should one go just receive fame from being on a reality show. Personally I feel that some are real, but most are fake. In this case, Tool Academy seems to be real. My only problem with this show is that is does exploit the lives of the couples, in every aspect, from their sexual lives to there emotional lives. I also feel that the women on the show are left looking stupid, as if the relationship solely rests in the hands of their men. For example, one of the men first came to the show with his girlfriend for 6 months, however, the same week his real girlfriend for 6 years showed up. He then had to choose which girl would be his girlfriend on the show. He chose the one he had been with for 6 years. What gives him the right to have 2 girlfriends at the same time, what gives him the right to just choose one over the other, and what gives him the right to break his first girlfriends heart. This show upsets me because it gives men the idea that they are in control of relationships, when it is suppose to be 50/50.
